As if their names aren't appetizing enough, they also smell like it! Although I held myself back from actually tasting the product as I know it won't taste like so, these butter glosses from NYX are so good. Staying power is so-so but it's not as sticky compared to my other lip glosses.

There are so many colors to choose from! I believe there are 12 colors, but I didn't plan on breaking the bank even if it costs only $5 from NYX Cosmetics. Lovely orange and pink hues.

The reason I got these two is because I'm not a big fan of bright colored lips as I am more of a nude lip wearer. But these ones give me the right amount of color on the lips when I need it to brighten my face or when I need some vibrance during a particularly gloomy day.


Look at that pigmentation when swatched. But really, when you wear it, it doesn't look that bright. See composite photo below.

Although I've had these NYX butter glosses for a while now, I held off using them until I got my hair chopped off because my long hair used to be all over my face and I really hate it when my messy locks stick to my lips. Which happens to be one of the reasons I never really looked forward to wearing lipstick before. Don't you just want them all??? And do you know that the brand is now available in the Philippines? Their stores are in Manila and Davao. Ugh! So far. In the mean time, I'll just keep ordering my makeup online... It's just so much more convenient. :) For now I can't give it 5 stars due to availability.
