Apparently everyone's doing it but I am not doing it because it's the "IN" thing right now. I don't think I have to justify my actions for accepting this challenge (you know for a fact how I love taking challenges!) but for all my haters out there, I do know what ALS truly is because I type and edit reports for a Neuro Rehab Center and some of the patients there are unfortunately afflicted with amyotrophic lateral sclerosis. I can feel their pain and hopelessness as well as their significant others' care and concern. How difficult and extra challenging is Lou Gehrig's disease? Well, obviously the ice bucket challenge is nothing compared to it.

I already donated to WWW.ALSA.ORG even before I took the challenge and filmed this video. Having received the much needed help and assistance after Typhoon Haiyan/Yolanda struck my hometown, this is a chance to pay it forward as well as spread awareness about ALS/Lou Gehrig's disease here in our country. I believe there are some Filipinos also battling this disease. So I hope you guys will donate to the ALS Association regardless if you haven't been nominated or have decided to do the #icebucketchallenge.
