Remember my I Commit to Change story a couple months ago? I submitted that story to the I Commit To Change movement of Pantene Pro-V... and guess what happened?
They sent me samples of the new Pantene Pro-V shampoo and conditioner and I tried it out... and some more changes happened in my life.

I got too many pages to show you (see those little dots up there?) so I won't bother showing off the apps I have in it.. basta all I can say is... the iPad totally rocks my socks! We know that since the hostage taking crisis that happened, the Philippines has suffered quite a loss in the tourism industry/department. Lots of resorts and hotels are having promotions and discounts already. But all hope is not lost... Why? Because I am an optimist (or so I'd like to think) and I believe that the Philippines is still the next best thing to paradise. Third-world paradise maybe but still... paradise!!! You'll see why.
But first, let me ask you guys a simple favor... This photo was taken in Sabins Resort in Ormoc City.
My description of that photo goes like this: Anywhere in the Philippines, anyone can watch a glorious sunset and Ormoc Bay definitely boasts one of the prettiest sunsets in the country. We are blessed to live a country created by a wonderful God that created and designed it to be naturally beautiful, rich in resources, and one step closer to paradise. Sunsets in our country are indeed sights to behold. The fact that it's a fleeting moment makes it a unique thing. All the islands in the Philippines are no less than each other. You only need to be at the right place and the right time to experience such beauty.
Agree? Yes. I thought so.
If you believe in the same thing as I do, please "LIKE" my photo. I think Ormoc City is a great place to promote as far as Philippine tourism is concerned. We have the glorious Lake Danao to be proud of for one plus a really beautiful golf course, too! But that's not just it... there are still so many wonders that Ormoc City can offer. It may be a small town but in spite of everything else, I think that it is a really beautiful place and I am proud to call it my "home".

Yesterday I woke up with a surprise... It wasn't even a good surprise. It was more of a baffling one.
HA!!? My Facebook is disabled?! My 4-year-old FACEBOOK account!!! FOUR friggin' years of pictures, wall posts, messages from 2006, etc... Then I remembered sis Joan had informed me that if you submit a report for a Faker's account then your account will get disabled, too. WTF! Okay, Facebook, why do you do that? I'm assuming for better judgment that you are doing this so you can very well verify the real owner's account. I hope that is the case.
So I sent an email to Facebook and after some verification, I got this other reply.
Then I sent them an ID. Until now they haven't replied, so I'm still waiting for my Facebook to be activated. OMG! The pictures... (can I stress this enough?!) the thousands of pictures and tags. Maybe Facebook should just ask for everyone's ID (instead of that mobile # verification) during the sign up process so posers won't have a chance to create accounts, and if they want to, they'll have to make more effort than just coming up with a stupid fake name then stealing other people's pictures. Ugh. This is so stressful. Now I can imagine what Lionheart the blogger went through.
It's the weekend and I should be relaxing today. I'll give it a day or two and just forget about this for now but if you want to contact me in the meantime... be a fan of my profile in Facebook to send me some love (or a simply hello!).

And thank you to each and everyone who took time to vote [LIKE my picture] in Facebook. Now I feel like a tweener again. Yup, Jansport makes me feel young because it reminds me of all the school fun back in the days. I'm not that old ha!? But there's something about this brand that truly brings back memories.
This is the JANSPORT® PILIPINAS BAG. They sent me the purple one! My all-time favorite color and I love it!!!
I bet there'd be a lot of knock-offs coming out soon but if you want to be true-blooded and original, I do suggest you grab one for only PHP2,490 at your favorite Jansport retailers! It should be available at a Bratpack store near you. It comes in black, white, purple, and brown.
Jansport has been in our lives for quite a long time now and I'm very sure it will stay for a much loooonger time. You can bet on it!

Maybe it's Maybelline!
For 17 years, I've been loyal only to one mascara. I've tried others, those that were given as gifts and pasalubongs, but no other ever came close to Maybelline.
The loyalty paid off today... when I received this COLOSSAL news!!!
I didn't even know it until Claire came over and told me about it! She told me to check Facebook! OMG! It was totally unexpected! Thank you so much Maybelline!
And over the years, you can tell I've been loyal to the product!
Unfortunately, I'm the girl with those annoyingly short lashes. Sucks, I know. My nanny trimmed my lashes when I was little but to no avail, it didn't bother to grow back! Pak! If only lash extensions were cheap and permanent, I would gladly get one.
But thank goodness for Maybelline, I don't have to worry about a thing!
My secret?!?!? Naw... it's no secret!
So it is Maybelline!!!
