Twenty-six years of my life she was there,
Not a single moment passed that she didn't care.
She wasn't just an ordinary lady;
She'd say she lived a full life if she was here with us today.

I would miss all the laughter and the cheer,
The late night barbecues, peanuts, and beer!
Oh! What a wonderful lady my lola was!
She was fun, she was loud, she had class.

My lola is happy now where she is;
I praise God for now she is in bliss.
May perpetual light shine upon her,
And memories of Lola Bati, I will remember...
Forever.
