Eyebrows 101: Tutorial plus Make Up For Ever Aquabrow VS Anastasia Dipbrow Pomade BEAUTY BATTLE!

Monday, August 18, 2014

Here are my current favorite eyebrow products and reasons why I pick them. Apparently, a common denominator I look for in an eyebrow product is how long it lasts especially since I have oily skin.

  • Anastasia Dipbrow Pomade - The product is long-lasting, no need to touch up throughout the day. Also available in a variety of colors.
  • IN2IT Eyebrowns powder - Since it comes in 3 shades, you can mix and match or blend it to get the perfect color to match your hair. It claims to be waterproof but I don't believe that's the case for me at all.
  • Etude House Color My Brows - This eyebrow mascara comes in, I believe, 5 different shades so that's a good thing. It also lasts throughout the day and is effective at taming unruly eyebrows.
  • Heroine Make Quick Eyebrow pencil - Not waxy at all and lasts the whole day. It has a super fine tip that lets you draw natural looking eyebrows. Available in 3 shades. Very affordable for its high quality!
  • Ben Nye Conceal All Wheel Concealer - I use this for highlighting and bringing out the perfect eyebrow shape.
  • Make Up For Ever Aqua Brow - This truly is my HG eyebrow product. If I were to choose just one product to use, this is it and wouldn't trade it for anything else. It simply lasts forever and is absolutely waterproof!
My preferred angled brush to use with eyebrow products both cream and powder is my MAC 263 Angled Brush. It's got the perfect bristles to apply products and it's just the right size to draw or fill in my brows to get that ideal arched shape.

I was finally able to film and upload one of the most requested videos by my friends and followers. AN EYEBROW TUTORIAL!!! In here you can also see the live comparison for MUFE Aquabrow vs. Anastasia Dipbrow Pomade so you can decide for yourself which one to get. (Or get both, you won't regret either!) If you haven't seen my video, you can watch it at https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=u5Zo1-HXWWo or just click PLAY on the embedded video below.

Note: It's in BISLISH, so if you don't understand Bisaya-English, I recommend turning on your closed captioning (CC) to view the English subtitles provided. :)

Thanks for dropping by and please do leave comments if there are any particular videos you'd like to see next. Would love to hear what you think of this video so I can improve my craft! Thanks again, guys, and have a wonderful week ahead!
